Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI procedures in a dynamic endoscopy suite. The role involves assisting the Endoscopist and RN, preparing the procedure room, and helping with patient transport and comfort. Strong emphasis on safety and equipment care. Requires related experience and a high school diploma.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a 40-hour work week. Pay ranges reflect full-time equivalent compensation and may vary by hours and status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience in an Endoscopy unit required.
• AHA BLS required; non-licensed must obtain before orientation ends.
• Knowledge of GI endoscopy procedures including ERCP and bronchoscopy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and RN with endoscopic procedures and patient care.
• Anticipate the Endoscopist's needs and pass instruments as required.
• Maintain organized procedure room, ensure cleanliness and proper turnover.
