Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an Endoscopy Support Technician to assist licensed personnel during procedures and handle equipment maintenance in a fast-paced environment. You will help with patient assessments, vital signs, and specimen collection, while maintaining sterile conditions and proper documentation.

The role requires CPR and at least one year in endoscopy or PCT settings. Preferred GI tech or PCT training and hospital or GI lab experience boost candidacy.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy or PCT experience required, minimum 1 year.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• GI tech or PCT training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and specimen collection.
• Support physicians and RNs during procedures, including biopsies and patient positioning.
• Maintain sterile environment and enforce infection control protocols.
• Prepare and check equipment and supplies, and document activities.
• Respond to emergencies and adapt to schedule changes.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in QA/QI initiatives.
