Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Surgical or Endoscopy Technician.
• Experience in a GI or multi-specialty medical environment.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Case preparation and setting up procedure rooms.
• Cleaning, maintenance and proper handling of endoscopes and equipment.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and anticipate needs.
• Specimen processing.
• Assist nurses in pre and post patient calls.
• Other duties as assigned.
