Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a GI Technical Specialist to support endoscopy services under supervision of nurses and physicians. This role includes specimen handling, room preparation, instrument readiness, and ensuring safety standards are followed.

You will perform high-level equipment disinfection, maintain inventories, document procedures, and assist with patient care across age groups, following department policies. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

• Assists with patient care activities under supervision of RN/physician.
• Assists in safety initiatives and prepares procedure rooms and equipment.
• Performs high level disinfection and reprocessing of equipment/scopes.

• Assists with patient care activities under the supervision of the RN/physician.
• Maintains room and equipment according to physician specs and safety standards.
• Performs disinfection, calibration, maintenance, and reporting of repairs.
• Documents procedures, images, and patient charges using endoscope/ultrasound systems.
• Maintains unit inventory, stocks supplies, and handles clerical duties (phones, filing, data entry).
• Assists in patient positioning and transport; uses proper lifting techniques.
• Provides age-appropriate care per department policies and age-related guidelines.
