Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a GI Technician Specialist to assist with patient care and intraprocedural support under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. The role includes specimen handling, maintaining procedure rooms, and ensuring equipment readiness in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will perform high-level disinfection, calibrate and maintain equipment, and document procedures and charges using endoscope and ultrasound systems.

• Assist with patient positioning and transferring as needed.
• Ensure age-appropriate care and adherence to department policies.
