Job summary

Lakeview Endoscopy Center in Utah is seeking an Endoscopy Tech to assist GI/endoscopy procedures under the supervision of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse. You will help prepare rooms, maintain sterile technique, and support specimen handling.

The role focuses on sanitary environment, high disinfection standards, and readiness of GI equipment and supplies for procedures. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
• One-year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment online certification not acceptable*

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sanitary environment for your patient
• Demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
• Prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
• Clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
• Assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimens
• Identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN
