Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a GI Tech to support the GI Lab in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time with hours 6:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and on-call rotations including nights and weekends.

As a GI Tech, you will assist the RN and physician during procedures, handle procedure setup and equipment maintenance, respond to emergencies, and float to other GI Lab locations as needed. A year of GI Tech experience is highlighted in the job listing.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the direction of the RN, in the implementation of the established plan of care.
• Assist the physician and the RN during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Responsible for procedure set-up, supply and equipment maintenance, processing and reprocessing of endoscopes and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for meeting on-call criteria as defined by the department. The employee is expected to float to other GI Lab locations.
