Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) seeks a Director of Gastroenterology to lead GI services at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. The role oversees clinical, administrative, quality, and academic functions for the GI division across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The candidate will drive growth, lead advanced GI programs, and maintain an active clinical practice while mentoring physicians, APPs, and trainees.

Qualificações

• Five (5) years of Gastroenterology experience required.
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee GI clinical, administrative, quality, and academic functions across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Lead strategic growth, develop advanced GI programs, and foster collaboration.
• Oversee clinical quality, performance metrics, and patient safety initiatives.
• Lead program development, including expansion of advanced GI services and infrastructure.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain physicians, APPs, and trainees; foster teamwork.
• Maintain an active clinical practice, including inpatient and outpatient care and trainee supervision.
• Drive academic excellence through teaching, curriculum development, and research initiatives with affiliated institutions.
