Job summary

NYU Langone Health's Department of Pediatrics seeks a full-time academic physician to serve as Director of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Qualifications

• Associate Professor or Professor level, board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology, and licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Fostering a collaborative, mission-driven culture with open communication across faculty and staff
• Owning the Division's performance and strategic direction, and developing new clinical, research, and educational opportunities, including interdivisional and interdepartmental collaborations
• Supporting faculty development, extramural funding, and philanthropic initiatives
• Resolving conflicts fairly and promptly
• Representing the Division on departmental and institutional committees
• Developing advanced endoscopy capabilities and elevating the Division's national reputation over time
