Banner Health is seeking a Physician Practice Manager for Gastroenterology to lead the day-to-day operations of a GI outpatient clinic. You will manage financial performance, staff engagement, and patient experience while partnering with physician leaders and hospital stakeholders.

The role requires an associate degree in a related field, 2+ years of healthcare operations experience, and strong leadership skills to drive performance and quality across the clinic network.

Qualifications

• Requires a level of business, consumer, and financial knowledge typically gained through an associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, consumer, finance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day outpatient clinic operations and ensure financial viability through budget adherence, payroll, supplies, and inventory management.
• Lead and develop clinic staff, fostering engagement and performance, while aligning with physician leads and clinical leadership.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and government regulations, and serve as compliance liaison for designated practices.
• Maintain facilities’ physical plant needs, coordinating repairs and equipment with internal or external resources.
• Collaborate with market leadership to build partnerships and support marketing/promotions to grow patient volume and brand.
• Monitor operations and implement workflow improvements, aiming for safety and high-quality patient experiences.
• Provide exemplary patient experience coaching for staff and lead service recovery to address patient concerns.
