Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Physician Practice Senior Manager for Gastroenterology to lead day-to-day operations of a large outpatient clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient financial performance.

You will partner with physician practice leads and clinical leadership to recruit, develop, and retain staff; maintain regulatory compliance; and build community relationships to support Banner's mission.

Qualifications

• Must possess medical licensure for clinical capacity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of a large outpatient clinic or multi-site practice and take ownership of financial performance, employee engagement, retention, and patient experience.
• Provide exceptional leadership and promote teamwork, engaging staff and physicians, recruiting, developing, rewarding, and giving performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and government agencies; serve as compliance liaison for designated practices.
• Determine physical maintenance and equipment needs and coordinate with internal/external resources to support operations.
• Collaborate with market leaders to build community partnerships and support Banner's brand and outreach efforts.
• Continuously monitor operations, revise procedures for efficiency and quality, and foster a culture of safety to reduce errors.
• Provide the highest level of patient experience by monitoring data and coaching staff to meet patient expectations.
