University of California Davis is seeking an innovative Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGPCNP) with master’s or doctoral preparation to care for older adults and families in a clinical, teaching, and research setting. The role combines independent NP practice, teaching responsibilities, and scholarly activity.

You will precept students, document in the EMR, and contribute to program initiatives on aging, mobility, and wellness, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN or AD, plus a master's; doctoral degree preferred.
• Doctoral degree in nursing or related field preferred; AGPCNP or FNP certification highly desirable.
• Experience in geriatric nursing care and leadership in clinical settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent advanced nurse practitioner care to older adults; work in a team; lead clinical practice.
• Precept advanced practice students; document care in EHR; participate in clinic initiatives.
• Develop funded clinical research with the Family Caregiving Institute and allied departments.
• Teach and mentor students; serve on committees; engage with community and profession.
