UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking an Instructor in Geriatrics (Nurse Practitioner) to join the Department of Internal and Specialty Medicine. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based geriatric care for older adults in outpatient settings and collaborate with physicians and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current national Nurse Practitioner certification applicable to the position.
• Texas RN/ARNP licensure current or eligible.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority in Texas.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based geriatric care in outpatient and other clinical settings.
• Teach, precept, and mentor medical students, residents, and other learners.
• Participate in scholarly activity, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in interdisciplinary care planning for older adults with complex needs.
• Serve on departmental and professional committees.
• Maintain clinical documentation and continuing education requirements.
• Support department missions of clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
