Job summary

UCSF is seeking a Health Sciences Professor to advance AG ACNP education for Doctor of Nursing Practice students in a flexible, part-time role.

The faculty member will teach across classroom, online, and hybrid formats; supervise clinical experiences; and contribute to curriculum, student advisement, and research or quality improvement projects in a leading academic health sciences setting in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• Doctorate by time of hire.
• Current or eligibility for RN, NP licensure in CA.
• National certification as ACNP or AG-ACNP.
• Two+ years of ACNP/AG-ACNP acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach AG ACNP students in classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.
• Supervise and evaluate students; develop course materials for adult complex care.
• Maintain an active clinical practice and supervise student cohorts.
• Participate in department, school, and campus service and scholarly activities.
