Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an NP program.
• Current national NP certification and Texas APRN licensure.
• Texas prescriptive authority and DEA registration, or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based geriatric care in outpatient and other assigned clinical settings.
• Teach, precept, and mentor medical students, residents, and other healthcare learners.
• Participate in scholarly activity, research, and quality improvement initiatives related to geriatric care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaborative management of older adults with complex needs.
• Serve on departmental, institutional, and professional committees.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and ongoing professional development requirements.
