Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a German Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join a long-term project in Austin, Texas. You will ensure German (Germany) content is natural, accurate, and polished, reviewing grammar, punctuation, and cultural context while verifying bug fixes and conducting test cases.

Remote role with occasional Austin office attendance; W-2 eligible for benefits; 35 hours per week, 9–5, Monday–Friday. Visa eligibility required for USA work authorization.

Qualifications

Native level German (Germany) fluency.
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
Experience with QA/testing and bug reporting.

Responsibilities

Write and report relevant bugs using the internal database system.
Follow testing instructions and test cases to QA products.
Evaluate translations in software, apps, and docs; ensure linguistic accuracy.
