The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System's Geriatrics and Extended Care Service seeks an experienced Physician (Geriatrics) to collaborate with the HBPC Medical Director for the care delivered by the HBPC team. This role is aligned under the Section Chief of Home Based Primary Care and located at the Lee County Healthcare Center in Cape Coral, Florida.

Eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Your duties include supervising residents and staff, diagnosing and treating geriatric

Formación

• Citizenship requirement per VA policy.
• MD degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the US.
• Residency in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Potential for PRP-type appointments if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical care for HBPC patients in collaboration with the HBPC Medical Director.
• Oversee medical care planning at HBPC team meetings and supervise residents and students.
• Diagnose and treat geriatric disorders using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure compliance with VA policies and quality of care standards.
