Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. in Maryland is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an on-campus outpatient Primary Care Practice serving residents across independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing.

You will plan and direct all operations of the resident care clinical area, lead the care team, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and precept NP students as you expand preventive and well-being services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing with geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable state.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary/urgent care, geriatrics preferred.
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus.
• Plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and pursue ongoing geriatric education.
• Serve as clinical preceptor for NP students and expand preventive/well-being services.
