Job summary

Mease Life is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient primary care across the campus, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. You will plan and direct resident care, supervise team members, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering proactive wellness services.

This part-time role requires a Master’s in Advanced Nursing (geriatrics preferred), NP licensure with prescriptive authority in Florida, and five years’ geriatric/primary care experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Florida.
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification for Nurse Practitioners (or must obtain within first year).
• Minimum of five years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary/urgent care or geriatrics.
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing, long-term care, or assisted living.

Responsibilities

• Provide services across the continuum of care on campus.
• Build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice for residents.
• Direct all functions of the resident care clinical area and supervise staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; maintain geriatrics knowledge.
• Develop and implement preventative and well-being services for residents.
