CareMed Health Solutions seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver wound services to residents in long-term care facilities. The provider will prescribe medications in line with Washington State law, order and review treatments, and coordinate care with nursing staff and the primary care physician.

Required are an active WA NP license and board certification, with experience in wound care, geriatric populations, and EMR systems. DEA licensure is optional.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted NP license in WA.
• Board Certification in relevant field.
• DEA licensure (Optional).

Responsabilidades

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances in accordance with WA law.
• Order, review, and follow up with treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Communicate with nursing home staff regularly to discuss changes in condition and care plans.
• Collaborate with the primary care physician and interdisciplinary team.
