Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse for a full-time schedule (7am-7pm, every other weekend). You will monitor resident health, support nurses, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with caregivers to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care.

Ideal candidates will hold an active LPN or RN license, have geriatric nursing experience, and be committed to resident well‑being and teamwork in a dynamic care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN).
• Three years' experience in assessment and geriatric nursing.
• Demonstrated compassion and teamwork with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the resident admission process including screening, assessment, and care needs.
• Ensure care is delivered as indicated in resident care plans.
• Medication and treatment administration per physicians' orders.
• Coordinate care with outside providers including resident physicians.
• Document and report care provided and resident observations.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures.
