Job summary

Habitat Health is seeking a dynamic therapy aide to support the therapy department in day‑to‑day operations for elderly participants. You will assist a licensed therapist, assemble simple equipment, prep treatment areas, and help lead recreational activities under supervision.

The role requires at least one year of experience with the frail or elderly, medical clearance, and up‑to‑date immunizations. This full‑time position offers comprehensive benefits and at‑will employment in Compton, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working with the frail or elderly.
• Proof of medical clearance for communicable diseases, including a TB test.
• Proof of all immunizations up to date.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a center experience that Participants want to spend time in.
• Assist licensed Therapist in implementing therapeutic activities as directed.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and clean therapy gym equipment.
• Maintain inventory and lead recreational activities under direction of the recreational therapist.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
