Job summary

Regal Heights Rehabilitation and Health Care Center seeks a friendly Recreation Aide to join our rehabilitation team. The role supports residents by leading activities, assisting with transport, and accompanying residents on trips to promote engagement and quality of life.

The successful candidate will be energetic, creative, and patient, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient, with a genuine interest in helping elderly residents.
• Computer literacy and good organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Complies with facility philosophy, objectives and policies for Recreational Therapy.
• Documents resident attendance/participation daily.
• Maintain care and use of program equipment and materials.
• Conduct therapeutic activities on and off unit as scheduled.
• Attend resident trips outside the facility as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Therapeutic Recreation.
