Lasell Village in Auburndale, MA is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive communications and swallowing services across living options. The position emphasizes resident-centered care, documentation, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The SLP will screen, evaluate, plan, and implement therapy, supervise CFY clinicians, and promote safe swallowing and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly titled area.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required, except for clinicians completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY).

Responsibilities

• Screen, examine, and evaluate residents — including history, systems review, and tests.
• Design and document a plan of care with goals in collaboration with residents and caregivers.
• Implement speech-language pathology treatment plans and lead related therapies.
• Lead or co-lead wellness classes and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Supervise CFY clinicians, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as per licensure rules.
