Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and coordinate department policies and procedures
• Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations, and make recommendations on policy changes
• Participate in community planning related to residents and services
• Develop a social history and care plans; identify problems and goals
• Interview residents and family members; assist in admissions processes
• Orient residents and families to the Nursing Center
• Listen with compassion and work independently
