Job summary

Touchmark at All Saints in Sioux Falls is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or registered nurse (RN) for a full-time role.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with rotating weekends and holidays, supporting Assisted Living or Memory Care residents and collaborating with a team to design and implement care plans.

Qualifications

• Possess a current LPN or RN license.
• Possess or willing to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality.
• Willingness to support the care team on the floors.
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors.
• Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers

Responsibilities

• Design and implement care plans for residents.
• Oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.
