Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation in Michigan seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide treatments under PT supervision in skilled nursing facilities. You will contribute to treatment development, documentation, and program progression while coordinating with the care team and families.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program and Michigan licensure, with the ability to adapt to patient needs and participate in continuing education.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to exercise professional judgement and initiative.
• Ability to react effectively to the needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Contribute to the development, implementation of, and progression of patient treatment and modify treatment as necessary.
• Participates in patient care conferences and program development and completes appropriate documentation.
• Maintains the clinical expertise through continuing education and contributes to a team environment.
