Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, document progress, and participate in care conferences.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and Michigan licensure, with the ability to lift and transfer patients and work with geriatric post-acute populations in skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Physical ability to bend, position, transfer and lift patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Documents treatment progress to maintain quality medical records and reimbursement guidelines.
• Coordinates with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient/family instruction to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains clinical expertise through continuing education and professional development.
