Job summary

Woodland Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Mount Pleasant, IA, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. The full-time position offers a stable, team-focused workplace providing geriatric post-acute care.

As part of CAPLICO values, you will deliver skilled interventions, support patient discharge planning, and collaborate with families and care teams. A PTA license is required; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Open to Physical Therapist Assistants at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients.
• Regular standing and walking throughout the facility with occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring regulatory compliance.
