Woodland Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Mount Pleasant, IA is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program serving post-acute and geriatric patients. The role involves screening, evaluating, and delivering skilled therapy under regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
• Open to Occupational Therapy Assistants at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders to develop appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Assist with regular standing/walking, lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
