Woodland Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Mount Pleasant, IA, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves delivering rehabilitative care to geriatric patients, conducting evaluations, and contributing to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• Open to new grads; all experience levels welcome.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist in wound care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions in accordance with standards.
• Regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapies, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
