Job summary

Parkview is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with the health team. The role involves supervising PT assistants, communicating progress to physicians and families, and maintaining complete documentation.

A state license and continuing education are required, with proficiency in Net Health and Point Click Care. You will educate residents and caregivers on home programs and safety, participate in care conferences, and help advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state; continuing education required.
• Proficient with Net Health and Point Click Care software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise PT assistants and students in resident care.
• Communicate progress and discharge plans with physicians and families.
• Complete timely and compliant documentation per policy.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise and safety.
• Participate in care conferences and quality initiatives.
