Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Current DE state licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with therapy documentation (NetHealth).
• Must pass a medical and physical examination based on job qualifications, requirements, and duties/responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel per licensure and professional standards.
• deliver rehab services per plan of care with timely documentation.
• attend patient care conferences and meetings; make referrals to other disciplines as needed.
• consult with rehab team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens.
• adapt the plan of care to individual patient needs.
• promote a safe environment and maintain equipment.
• order supplies and equipment as necessary.
• document progress and complete related paperwork.
• perform related duties as required.
