Job summary

Theradynamics in New York is seeking a Physical Therapist for our Assisted Living teams. You will evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning, developing individualized plans and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to restore function.

Caseload is manageable and supported by a clinical mentorship program; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• DPT or Master's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current NY State PT license or eligibility.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Mentorship available for new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a geriatric rehab setting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, families to improve outcomes.
• Support patient independence and functional goals.
