Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking a licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing team in New York. You will evaluate and treat geriatric patients recovering from surgeries and medical events, developing individualized plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible for Connecticut State PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Help patients return to their highest level of independence.
• Caseload will be manageable with supportive mentorship.
