Job summary

TheraDynamics in New York is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat geriatric patients in a skilled nursing setting. You will create individualized treatment plans and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• DPT or Master's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current or eligible New York State PT license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply; mentorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and deconditioning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with the care team.
• Help patients return to their highest level of independence.
• Maintain a manageable caseload and exercise sound clinical judgment.
