Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a Bay Area client in a full-time onsite role in Palo Alto, CA. You will provide patient-centered rehabilitation for older adults, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize mobility and independence.

The ideal candidate holds a California PT license (or eligibility), a DPT, and strong skills in gait, balance and functional mobility, with a focus on quality patient outcomes and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist license or eligibility.
• DPT or equivalent accredited degree.
• Experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, balance, strength and function.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other therapists as part of the care team.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety and home programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet regulatory standards.
• Participate in care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
