Job summary

The Emory Clinic seeks a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our faculty and provide high-quality psychiatric care within the Geriatric Psychiatry Division. This role emphasizes clinical service to both new and established patients and offers opportunities to teach fellows, residents, and medical students.

In addition to patient care, the position involves attending case conferences and educational meetings, and collaborating on research projects.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Four-year psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship completed.
• Georgia medical license or eligibility.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• In-person tasks at Emory University locations; occasional remote work may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Attend case conferences and administrative/educational meetings.
• Engage in research activities as available.
• Inpatient on-call responsibilities as part of faculty schedule.
