The successful candidate will serve as an attending physician in the Geriatric Psychiatry Division, with 80% clinical work and 20% administration/teaching or research. Duties include teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, attending case conferences, and participating in the faculty call schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Four-year psychiatry residency and geriatric psychiatry fellowship completed.
• Medical license in Georgia or eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings.
• Opportunity to engage in research and quality improvement projects.
• Inpatient on-call responsibilities included.
