Job summary

The Emory Clinic in Georgia is seeking a Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our division, delivering high‑quality care to diverse patients and contributing to education and research initiatives. The attending will teach fellows, residents and medical students, attend case conferences, and participate in administrative and educational meetings, with an 80% clinical and 20% teaching/research focus.

Note: tasks are generally in‑person at an Emory University location; remote day options may be granted

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship.
• Candidate must hold or be eligible for a Georgia medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Attend case conferences and educational meetings.
• Participate in administrative and educational meetings.
• Option to engage in research, quality improvement, and evidence‑based practices.
• Inpatient on-call responsibilities as part of the faculty schedule.
