Job summary

The attending will care for new and established patients, with opportunities to teach fellows, residents, and medical students, and to participate in conferences, meetings, and research activities. Inpatient on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Completion of a four-year psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship.
• Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia medical license.
• Board certification or board eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings.
• Option to engage in research activities and quality improvement projects. Inpatient on-call duties are included.
