The position involves approximately 80% clinical care and 20% administration and teaching or research, with potential adjustments based on research funding.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Four-year psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship.
• Hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of Georgia.
• Board certification or board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to geriatric patients (new and established).
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students during clinical activities.
• Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings.
• Option to engage in research activities including clinical studies and quality improvement.
• Participate in the faculty on-call schedule (inpatient on-call responsibilities).
• Structure approx. 80% clinical care and 20% administration/teaching/research; adjustments possible for funding.
