The attending physician will provide clinical care to new and existing patients, teach fellows, residents, and medical students, and participate in conferences and educational meetings. Inpatient on-call duties are included within the faculty schedule.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of a psychiatry residency and a geriatric psychiatry fellowship.
• GA medical license or eligibility required.
• Board certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to new and established patients.
• Teach fellows, residents and medical students.
• Attend case conferences and participate in administrative and educational meetings.
• Engage in research activities (clinical studies, QA projects, evidence-based practices).
• Inpatient on-call responsibilities included as part of faculty schedule.
