Job summary

Metropolitan Behavioral Health in Dearborn, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Older Adult Unit. This full-time night shift (7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.) position involves coordinating and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the health team, and supervising LPNs and MHTs to ensure safety and meet patient needs.

A passion for working with older adults is ideal; MS/BSN preferred, with Michigan RN license. Rotating holidays and weekends included.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program.
• RN license issued by the State of Michigan.
• Three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with health team members.
• Oversee and direct LPNs and MHTs on the unit to ensure safety and patient needs are met.
• Provide care for older adults and contribute to treatment planning.
