Curana Health, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide compliant, high-quality mental health services across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of psychiatric care and positive outcomes for seniors.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, medication management, and coordination with physicians and facility staff, with travel between facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PMHNP program and ANCC certification.
• Active DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
• Current NP license in the state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care within SNF, LTC, AL, and IL.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Evaluate and manage residents' mental health needs and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and tests; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and meds.
• Coordinate with care teams to address acute psychiatric and medical needs.
