Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL communities. You will deliver high-quality psychiatric services within a collaborative care team, ensuring continuity of care across post-acute and long-term care settings.

You will work with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes, empower patients, and support families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited PMHNP program.
• ANCC PMHNP certification, active.
• Active DEA license.
• Current state NP license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, consulting specialists, referral sources, and facility staff.
• Assess and manage the mental health needs of residents, perform physical exams, and gather complete medical histories.
• Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests, make preliminary diagnoses, and develop effective therapeutic care plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments; provide injections as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on medications, care plans, and preventive mental health practices.
• Work alongside physicians and facility teams to address acute psychiatric and medical needs promptly and effectively.
