Qualifications

• PMHNP certification (ANCC) required.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• DEA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Accredited NP program graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric rounds and manage care across SNF, LTC, AL, IL.
• Coordinate care with physicians, consultants, and facility staff.
• Evaluate residents’ mental health needs and perform exams.
• Order/interpret tests and develop treatment plans for mental and physical health.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient and family education.
