Curana Health in the United States seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver compassionate geriatric behavioral health across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings. Join a mission-driven team and help improve outcomes for seniors while enjoying a flexible 2-3 day workweek.

You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, perform patient evaluations, manage medications, and provide education to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC certification as a PMHNP.
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice; DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care and rounding across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate collaborative care with physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Evaluate, manage, and document residents' mental health needs and medical histories.
• Order and interpret labs and tests; develop therapeutic plans.
• Prescribe medications and treatments; administer injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on meds and care plans.
• Address acute psychiatric and medical needs with the care team.
