Job summary

Abode Care Partners, affiliated with BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a clinical physician leader to oversee medical care for residents in facilities and homebound patients, under supervision of the CMO. You will blend hands-on geriatrics with administrative duties to support a high-performing care team.

You will lead a panel across skilled nursing and assisted living settings, supervise NPs/PAs, and ensure quality outcomes while aligning with regulatory requirements and the company’s mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and is a Doctor of Medicine.
• Two or more years of administrative leadership experience in healthcare.
• Clinical medical experience of seven years or more preferred.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics; geriatrics preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the state of employment; unrestricted licensure.
• Current DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across settings in partnership with NP/PA and interprofessional team.
• Maintains engagement with facility leadership, patients and families.
• Provides collaborating physician duties for 5–15 NPs/PAs.
• Audits up to 10% of orders/documentation monthly.
• May assume medical directorships for facilities as needed.
• Identifies growth opportunities with facilities in the market/region.
• Participates in frontline/backup call processes for timely acute changes.
• Focuses on quality outcomes, care-path compliance and cost reduction.
