Job summary

Optigy Group is seeking a physician for Coastal Virginia primary care with a focus on adults 65+ in a value-based care setting. You will deliver preventive primary care, manage chronic diseases, and collaborate with an integrated care team to optimize senior health outcomes.

The role emphasizes meaningful patient relationships, longer visit times, and minimal RVU pressure. Starting compensation exceeds $300k in the first year with strong upside for experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Geriatric care experience preferred.
• Value-Based Care experience preferred, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive primary care to adults 65+ with Medicare Advantage focus.
• Maintain an average census of 12–15 patients per day.
• Conduct visits lasting 20–40 minutes each.
• Collaborate with NP/PA, Medical Assistants, Social Workers, and Pharmacy staff to coordinate care.
